Nohoch Che’en, also commonly known as Caves Branch, is an archaeological reserve northwest of Belmopan, consisting of a network of limestone caves. The Caves Branch Cave is one of several subterranean sites that were carved out of the limestone foothills of the Maya Mountains by the very active Caves Branch River.
Zip Line- You will be zipping through the canopy of Belize’s rainforest for approximately an hour. You will also be zipping across a river.
Cave Tubing – In 2010 Nohoch Che’en or Caves Branch was declared a 15.5-acre archaeological reserve by the Belize government. Many caves are located in this area including Petroglyph, Pothunters, Satabe, Footprints, St. Margret’s Cave, Pottery Cave, and Caves Branch Rock Shelter among others. After the zipline tour, you will be issued with a life vest, an inner tube, and a headlamp. We will then start a 15 minutes hike to the entrance of the caves. The tour of the caves lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
